Barratt Homes simplifies the home buying process with digital showcase created by LBi

— New website helps customers to locate, personalise and finance their dream home

Barratt Homes' new website guides users along their home buyer journey

London:
The UK's biggest home builder Barratt Homes, has launched an engaging new website developed by global marketing and technology agency LBi, aimed at helping customers to locate, personalise and finance their dream home.

The core creative concept development by LBi, called 'Moving You Forward', blends strategy, creativity, technology and user-experience, to make it easy for customers to identify the next step and make progress in their home buying journey.

The new www.barratthomes.co.uk website features a digital showcase through which customers can view large 360 degree image galleries, intuitive maps and an ever-present contact console, making it simple to explore developments, shortlist homes of interest and book a viewing. Customers can also view, compare and contrast a huge range of fixtures, fittings and appliances so they can fully personalise their properties online.

LBi has integrated a range of contextual information across each step of the customer journey, so whether the site is being viewed on a PC, tablet or mobile device, customers will be presented with helpful tools and advice to help them reach the next stage in the process.

Jeremy Hipkiss, Marketing Director at Barratt Homes, commented: "The online customer experience now plays a central role in the home buying research and selection process. Therefore, we require the right digital strategy and online experience to meet those demands head on. "LBi has created a new site which helps to demystifying the home buying process while showcasing the quality of Barratt Homes, demonstrating that Barratt doesn't just build your ideal home – it can help you move there too."

Simon Gill, Executive Creative Director at LBi, added: "If you've ever attempted to purchase a house before, you'll know what a daunting process it can be. For Barratt Homes, we've put the homebuyer at the heart of the online proposition with the core idea of 'moving you forward'. So that you're guided every step of the way to owning and enjoying your new home.

We've worked with Barratt Homes to create an experience that's not just about finding a suitable home (with a visual search that includes schools, local amenities, transport) but also one that answers questions at each stage, presents step-by-step support and provides useful tools to assist from first consideration to actually moving in. The service offers an intuitive way to personalise your chosen property and helps you figure out how best to pay for it, too. The site lifts the UK's biggest house builder a few notches above the rest and we're confident it will have a transformational effect on Barratt Homes' business."
