  • The challenge

    To promote Lloyds TSB’s status as National Partner of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics Games, we were asked to create lloydstsblondon2012.co.uk – and make it stand out amid the clamour for Olympic attention.

    Our solution

    An interactive campaign site with exclusive content for Lloyds TSB customers. The main focus was Lloyds TSB’s Olympic Torch Relay competition. People could nominate charity workers or people involved in sport education who deserved the honour. Other competitions included Trackside, the chance to win Olympics tickets, or meet star athletes like Chris Hoy. The site also told the stories behind the amazing work Lloyds TSB does to support sporting talent, by providing funding to 600 Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls.

    The results

    With positive reaction from customers in the run up to the Games, the site continues to grow as more images of the Torch Relay are added. Further opportunities for social media interaction are ramping up awareness of Lloyds TSB’s sponsorship – and increasing buzz around the main event .
