  • The challenge

    E.ON wants to make the nation more ‘Energy Fit’. However, research showed that when it comes to reducing energy use, people don’t know where to start.  Nor what savings they could make. We needed to find ways to communicate the simple ways people can start to make a difference.

    Our solution

    We started by asking people to tell us where they thought they could be more energy efficient. An intuitive, visual survey helped people understand the problem – and we employed nudge techniques to make sure they completed all the questions. 

    We then used this data to provide simple step-by-step goals to improve their Energy Fitness.

    The results

    Within 6 weeks of the launch 75,000 people had completed the survey, and were duly rewarded with personalised energy goals.
